Y12 Media Institutions - Technology Homework

Investigate the use of new technology in the production of one film made within the last 5 years.  You should identify specific examples of how technology was used, and explain the benefits and disadvantages to the filmmakers and the audience.  You may want to consider technologies such as digital filmmaking, digital 3D, CGI, and motion capture.  Possible films to research include Avatar, Tron: Legacy, and The Hobbit.  Useful websites are listed below:
